Woolly-warm knitwear trends – new winter patterns
When the first snowflakes fall, it’s time to get out your winter knitwear look. Our KouCla® rib-knit dress in a wrap look shows that this option can not only be cosily warm, but also become a really sexy outfit. Its narrow band at the neck with a deep V-neckline underneath highlights the décolleté whilst its stylish short cut is designed to really make shapely long legs stand out. In combination with a pair of sexy over the knee boots, this look has just got to be the boot trend of the autumn and winter season! The ribbon around the waist is another cute detail which gives this wrap dress a very feminine touch, and the long sleeves also make it an elegant dress for those festive autumn evenings. And you have a great choice of seasonally oriented colours: This knitwear dress is available in rose gold, navy, cappuccino, grey, red and black.
All-wool is so yesterday, today it’s all easy care!
For outdoor wear, you can add a cosy scarf and cute knitted hat. For this autumn, it just has to be as fluffy as possible: wherever you look, you’ll see cute faux fur appliqués and plush elements used in combination with knitwear! Whether it’s as a pom-pom on a chunky knit cap, as a fluffy jacket collar, or as a fleece scarf with fringes, they are all great eye-catchers. And when worn with our sexy knitted dress they’ll create an absolutely flawless winter bunny look!
However, knitwear – and especially any clothing worn next to your skin – should never be natural sheep wool. Even though this would be sure to keep you warm in winter, it’s a material which also has its disadvantages: it must be washed very carefully, often scratches the skin and for some people it can even trigger allergies. That’s why so many knitted looks are either made from a blend of wool and other fibres or else made entirely as a synthetic product using other materials: for example, viscose for a fine knit garment or acrylic for a coarse knit. This produces a fabric with non-fade colours which is also more tear resistant than natural wool. In addition, synthetic garments made of acrylic or viscose don’t have to be treated like wool and cold washed with a special mild detergent, just like any other easy-care clothing they can be washed in your washing machine at temperatures of up to 40 degrees without becoming baggy. So they stay sexy and in shape, just like the first time you wore them!
A smooth combo: leather and knitwear
Our leather look jacket with a stand-up collar is a great complement to a brightly coloured knitted dress and scarf: A dark leather look creates a hot contrast to that cute fleece look, whilst also subtly accentuating the feminine curves. It’s a tailored garment which fits tight and is just the right length for a top or mini dress. Water-repellent and guaranteed to keep the autumn weather at bay, it’s a piece which will quickly become your favourite for everyday wear, because it looks good when closed with a stand-up collar as well as when worn half-open for a more sexy look. The jacket is neatly finished with some shiny details – a silver buckle and two obliquely set zipper pockets. Available in classic black, this garment can be worn with all trend colours, making it the perfect companion for the autumn season!
